This is how African farmers clear their lands

Many African farmers are poor and do not know how to clear their lands in a modern way.
African farmers work with only few tools, they use only a Machete and a Hoe, they cut the trees and the herbage with the machete and scratches the soil a little with the hoe.

The African farmers clear their Land a little cut down the herbage and small trees, make a brush fire and sow.

This could be dangerous to the land and can destroy the soil quickly.

THE EFFECTS
1. The brush fire spoil the soil and destroy the organic matter.
2. Using only machete and hoe is not enough to turn over the soil.
3. If the soil is not well turn over the water and air couldn't get well into the soil then plants would remain undenourshed.
4. At the end the soil would stays poor and yields a small harvest
